Join the movement! Students, sort all trash into the right bins: recyclables, compost, and landfill. Protect our campus environment now.
Reduce unnecessary trash burning by recycling recyclable materials and help protect the environment.
Ensures toxic heavy metals and other hazardous substances are handled and treated/disposed of safely.
Recycling and composting can be cheaper than landfilling in the long run, especially with rising landfill costs and taxes.
Currently, 70 percent of Keystone dorm students bag all trash together. From an experiment, trashes which are thrown in the recyclable bins and trashes which are thrown in unrecyclable bins ends up in the same place. It is extremely hard for cleaners to sort the trash inside of the trash bags.

Trash Attack (Trash Sorting Awareness Game)
Trash sorting significantly boosts recycling by keeping materials clean and valuable, conserving natural resources and energy. It drastically reduces landfill waste, curbing harmful methane emissions and soil/water contamination. Separating organic waste enables composting, enriching soil, and creating renewable energy. Hazardous items are safely managed, protecting health. Economically, sorting lowers disposal costs, creates recycling jobs, and fuels the circular economy. Overall, it promotes sustainability and environmental responsibility.
We should not leave all of the trash-sorting duties to the Ayi. The awareness of the status of trash sorting is very low since the general distribution of the data points is generally lower than 3, which means trash sorting did not raise enough awareness for everyone to participate. Participants in this question are asked to rate the current Keystone trash sorting awareness out of 5 which the results turn out to prove the awareness is low.
